When I walked in to Kathleen and Ralph's house the morning of their wedding, I could tell it was going to be good day. The girls were laughing and telling stories, enjoying a few slices of pizza before they had to get dressed and head to the church. What a great way to start the day! I especially loved the "sixpence" Kathleen taped to the bottom of her shoe for good luck. Ralph was already at the church when I arrived, smiling and chatting with his brother, the best man. The priest was so pleasant to work with, and allowed us to film from the back side of the altar to get a close view of Kathleen and Ralph as they said their vows. The reception was a blast- they started with taking formal photos on the picturesque grounds at The Commons 1854. Gaby from Benoit-McCarthy Photography knew this venue so well, and brought the wedding party to all of the perfect spots for photos! The tone for the night was set when the groomsmen frog hopped their way into the ballroom. Followed by some great toasts by Ralph's brother and sister, showing how happy they were to have Kathleen join the family. The dance floor was packed the whole night, courtesy of the sounds of Next Level Entertainment. I loved how they ended the night with a remixed version of Elvis Presley and UB40's "I can't help falling in love." My sincerest congratulations go out to this amazing couple. Wishing you all the best today, and always! |
