I was referred to Lauren and Emilio by Tom and Michelle Reopelle, whose wedding we filmed back in April of 2012. We had such a great time at Tom and Michelle's wedding, and couldn't wait to meet their friends! After meeting Emilio and Lauren, and seeing how in love and excited they were about their upcoming wedding, our team at Next Level Films couldn't have been more excited to work with them. I soon discovered that they both came from large Italian families, and including all of their family members and special traditions was going to be a big part of their wedding day. When September 21st finally arrived- all of the planning and special details came together perfectly. Their marriage ceremony at Sacred Heart Parish in Lynn, MA was especially meaningful since Lauren's uncle would be leading the ceremony! He shared some great words of wisdom about how to have a caring and loving marriage that I know Emilio and Lauren will always remember. Their cocktail hour and reception followed at Spinelli's in Lynnfield, MA. I just love this venue. For one, the staff are so nice and hospitable to us vendors, but the place itself is absolutely beautiful. Oh- and not to mention that we got to enjoy the 5 course italian feast that Lauren and Emilio provided to their guests!! If you are looking for venue that serves delicious Italian cuisine that will impress your guest, Spinelli's is undoubtably the place to go! Most of their photos were taken inside by the grand staircase- a perfect spot for the whole wedding party to enjoy. It was awesome to work with Will Condon from Shuttereyes Photography. He set up some fun photo-ops with the couple that had everyone smiling and laughing throughout the whole photo session! The ballroom's decor and lighting made the room look magical. Lauren's bridesmaids were wearing purple, and the lighting around the room was the perfect shade to compliment the dresses, flowers, and beautiful centerpieces. Vinny and his team from Bash Entertainment wasted no time getting the party going. There was so much energy in the room for their introductions! One of my favorite moments was when Lauren dedicated a song to her mother, and then shared a special dance with her sister, mother, and grandmother- you could just tell what a loving and close family she has. I thought this was a great way to celebrate the mother of the bride. Another favorite was watching Lauren's sister and maid of honor, Christine, place the garter on one of the lucky bachelors in the crowd. Definitely a moment to remember. It was such a pleasure capturing their wedding day moments, and we wish them all the best in the years to come!
